The LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) technology sensors uses Time-of-Flight (TOF) capability to measure the distance and reflectivity of objects and record the data as a reproducible three-dimensional point cloud with intensity information. Operating at the 905 nm wavelength, sensitive detectors calculate the light’s bounce back Time-of-Flight (TOF) to measure the object’s distance and record the collected data as a reproducible three-dimensional point cloud. The sensor’s ability to detect objects that vary in size, shape, and reflectivity is largely unaffected by ambient light/dark, infrared signature, and atmospheric conditions.

Solid State Sensing

The LiDAR smart sensing technology has evolved into solid state implementations with the S3-8 and S3-1, which contain no moving or vibrating parts on either macro or micro scales. This assures the highest level of performance, reliability, longevity and cost efficiency while enabling increasingly smaller footprints that require less power. The compact package integrates seamlessly into vehicles or any other platform that stand to benefit from smart, capable, always-aware perceptive vision. Through the interaction of three main components – emitter, receiver and signal processor – the S3-8 creates a real-time, long-range 3D view of the environment and provides the ability to recognise and classify objects.

Tracks any movement in surveillance areas to classify humans as potential threats

LiDAR technology is the way of the future for security applications, replacing traditional solutions such as radar and microwave sensors. The powerful security platform is fully integrated into existing VMS and PSIM infrastructure, offering surveillance automation with real-time people detection, classification and tracking.

FEATURES

MULTI-LIDAR FUSION

Smart technology combines multiple LiDAR’s into a single unified point cloud, for tracking unique objects in complex environments.

HUMAN OBJECT DETECTION

Moving objects are detected and measured. Objects can be classified in terms of orientation, position, scale, velocity and zone.

OBJECT TRACKING

Object movement can be tracked in real-time, even in large, crowded environments.

SECURE ZONES

Users can define secure zones. If objects are detected in a zone, the solution creates events that can directly control internet alarms and cameras.

ETHERNET INTERFACE

Computer systems using local Ethernet can access the object data.

360° FOV

PTZ camera control

Integrates with major VMS systems

100+ m detection range

Real-time object detection, tracking and classification

Moving people and objects are detected and measured in terms of position, velocity and orientation. Track in real-time for safety and security in crowded environments.
